In
the year 878, |
the
bishop of Béziers bought the small fishing
village of Valras from the bishop of Gérone. |
Today, |
Valras
has preserved its rich historical past, its fine
sandy beaches stretching over 7 km along the
Southern French coast.
In the summer, Valras offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment,
such as 80 free evenings of theater, movies, percussions and jazz
festivals, sailing schools, tennis courts, a casino, as well as fishing
and leasure ports. |
